In episode 009, I had the pleasure of chatting with Mikey Lion. Mikey is a DJ, label boss and cofounder of Desert Hearts. The importance of Desert Hearts in my own life can not be overstated and so this episode with Mikey means quite a bit to me. We covered some good ground with the limited time we had for the chat. Here, we talk about what it’s like to be a touring DJ and one of the faces behind a surging movement, while learning to take better care of mind and body. Mikey also opens up on having a major anxiety attack before his set at Desert Hearts 2019 and we compare notes on our quest for the “Super Brain”.
